Tarina

The American Sokol, under the leadership of Jean Hruby has created the Sokol Museum and Library. The sport of Gymnastics came to the United States on the backs of immigrants from Central Europe. The Czech Sokols were one of those groups. They loved their gymnastics and dared not to leave it behind. The Sokol looks to preserve artifacts from past Sokol gymnastics halls.

As gymnastics clubs modernize with new equipment, the past apparatus is being trashed and lost forever. The American Sokol wishes to preserve the evolution of gymnastics to share with upcoming students of our sport. This campaign is to raise funds in order to initiate the first collection of items though 8 States from Sokol halls and other gymnastics clubs. Please help us raise the funds to make this tour possible.
